Peter Obi meets with Bishop Oyedepo

2023 LP Presidential candidate, Peter Obi has paid a visit to Bishop David Oyedepo at the Canaanland headquarters in Ogun State.

According to report, former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Tuesday, July 19, paid a visit to the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo at the Canaanland headquarters of the church in Ota, Ogun state.
According to Church Gist, Peter Obi visited the cleric on Tuesday, his birthday.
One of the church’s pastors (Leke Beecroft) in Canaanland, on Wednesday, shared, on his Facebook page, a photo of the cleric and presidential candidate who happened to be a year older that same Tuesday.
Although the details of the visit are yet to be known, it may not also be unconnected to Obi’s political aspirations ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
The aforementioned blog, however, reported that the visit was for ‘priestly and birthday blessings’.
This is also coming after Asiwaju Bola-Ahmed Tinubu met with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Sunday, July 17 at the Redemption Camp alongside his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu who happens to be a deputy pastor in the church and other associates.
The APC presidential candidate discussed with the G.O following his decision to settle for a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
Accordint to a source who pleaded anonymity, the meeting with Adeboye was very fruitful, adding that the clergy was not against a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
“He met Adeboye on Sunday. The meeting was very fruitful. Adeboye is not against Muslim-Muslim ticket,” a source said.
