“Pedro Neto won’t do Chelsea any good” — Roy Keane
Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane is not sold about rival club, Chelsea bringing into the ranks former Wolves star, Pedro Neto.
Roy Keane never one to hold back his opinions, has launched a scathing critique on Chelsea’s £54 million summer signing, Pedro Neto. As the Blues continue their ambitious rebuild under new manager Enzo Maresca, Keane is far from convinced that the former Wolves winger will be the impact player Chelsea fans are hoping for.

Chelsea concocting a perfect recipe for Disaster
Despite Neto’s reputation as one of the most talented players outside the Premier League’s top six, his injury history has raised eyebrows—none more so than Keane’s.
On a recent episode of “Stick to Football” powered by Sky Bet, the ex-Manchester United captain dismissed Arsenal legend Ian Wright’s optimistic prediction that Neto could be one of the signings of the season.
Keane didn’t mince words: “No! He’s always injured! F*** sake. He’s like [Luke] Shaw.” He went on to predict that Neto would “add to the chaos” at Stamford Bridge, running himself into the ground only to spend half the season sidelined with hamstring problems.
Neto’s track record supports Keane’s skepticism.
Last season, the Portuguese winger was limited to just 20 Premier League appearances, missing a significant chunk of the campaign due to recurring hamstring issues. Although he made a brief return at the end of the season, Keane’s scathing assessment suggests Chelsea may have taken a costly risk on a player whose fitness could be a constant concern.
