PDP appoints Rep. Kingsley Chinda as chair for Ondo governorship primaries

In preparation for Saturday’s governorship primaries in Ondo State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Rep. Kingsley Chinda as the Chairman of the Local Government Congress Electoral Committee.

This announcement was made by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, in a statement released on Friday in Abuja.

According to Ologunagba, the formation of the committee was endorsed by the National Working Committee (NEC) of the party.

The committee’s primary responsibility is to oversee the National Delegates Congress, tasked with electing one national delegate per local government area in Ondo.

“The committee members are to serve on the local government Congress Electoral Committee to conduct National Delegates Congress for the purpose of electing one national delegate per local government area in Ondo,” he said.

The congress is scheduled to take place at the Collation Center of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in each of the local government areas across the state.

Ologunagba emphasized the importance of all governorship aspirants, leaders, critical stakeholders, and party members in Ondo to adhere to these guidelines and directives.
