Patrice Evra previews the Weekend fixtures

Manchester United legend, Patrice Evra has chimed in with his own predictions for the coming weekend games of the new Premier League season.

With the games starting with Tottenham at lunch time, the former Manchester United defender sees an Antonio Conte side bouncing back from the dropped points against Chelsea.

Speaking with BetFair, he predicts a 2-0 win for Spurs saying:

“Conte will be so disappointed with their performance last time out against Chelsea, and he will be making sure they do everything to win at home.

“Wolves have only taken one point so far from their two matches and they look like they need a bit more time to get going. I can only see Spurs winning this one.
“Prediction 2-0.”

For the late kick off between Arsenal and Bournemouth, he predicts Arsenal will be on hand to hand Bournemouth their second defeat of the season in a 3-0 fun fair for the Gunners.

“Arsenal have to beat teams like Bournemouth if they want to get in the top four and I think they understand this now, especially with a player like Gabriel Jesus who can help you win these games.

“Prediction 3-0,” Evra said.

For the Chelsea vs. Leeds game, he predicts a 2-0 win with the Blues recovering from the draw against Spurs in match week 2.

Then for the big game on Monday night, Patrice Evra went quite careful in his prediction and had this to say:

“Liverpool aren’t looking well at the moment though, so I think it will be a lot closer than people think. Prediction 0-1.”
