Pastor slaps student for using ipod during service

A student of Covenant University has reportedly accused pastors attached to the institution of brutalising students.

The student, in a post on snapchat, described several incidents when pastors in the school slapped students to keep them in line.

Posting via her handle @AHoeStory, she said, “So I am from Covenant University and today, during the second service, our Assistant Chaplin (pastor) was preaching, and he sighted a boy pressing his ipod in the congregation, he called the boy up to the altar, seized the ipod and slapped him in front of the chapel… it was just crazy.”

She said the boy was a 400 Level student, but did not state his name.
