According to reports, illegal streaming of the Olympic games could warrant  hefty fines if caught streaming the event. The BBC and Discovery Plus are offering comprehensive coverage, and a valid TV License is mandatory to watch the live action legally.

“We have a database of approximately 31 million licensed and unlicensed addresses,” warns the TV Licensing company. “Our visiting officers can check if you have a license or not. If not, our fleet of detector vans can detect TV receiving equipment at targeted addresses within minutes.”
