Oyo prison break: Names, photos of escapees released- NCS

The names and images of 122 escaped inmates of Abolongo Custodial Centre, Oyo State, has been released by the Nigerian Correctional Service.

The inmates had escaped the correctional centre on Friday, October 22, 2021, after unidentified gunmen attacked the facility.

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, had said that the Federal Government would enlisted the help of Interpol in recapturing the fleeing inmates.

As at Monday, October 24, 463 of the Oyo orison break inmates had been reportedly recaptured with more than 300 still at large.

It is unclear if the names and images released are the remaining inmates who are still at large.
