‘Oyinbo’ lady drops tip on how to outsmart ‘Yahoo Boys” [Video]
A white lady has taken to social media to share tips on how to chase away internet fraudsters, AKA Yahoo boys.
In a video she shared online, the lady shared a helpful tip with her colleagues who may find themselves being contacted by internet fraudsters in Nigeria.
Speaking from experience, the woman said there is a keyword foreigners who are targets of scammers can use to scare off Yahoo Boys.
The woman said that when they are chatting with someone they suspect is a fraudster, they can use the Yoruba slang ”Alaye” to give the person the impression that they are chatting with another scammer posing as a white person.
