Osimhen awarded young player of the Season
Super Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has been awarded best under-23 player in Serie A for the 2021/22 season.
The 23-year-old scored 14 goals and 5 assists in 26 league games for Napoli after missing two months of action due to a facial injury.
Osimhen made 5 appearances in the UEFA Europa League, where he scored 4 goals and assisted 1.
The young talent edged Juvetus’ Dusan Vlahovic and Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca to claim the award.
