“One of the worst mistakes you can make in life is marrying the wrong person”—Elizabeth John breaks

The designer on her Instagram handle shared a cryptic message that in its words were directed to relationship hopefuls, and in some extent, served as a criticism to the pressure people and society place itself regarding the subject of marriage.

In her post, she wrote, “One of the worst mistakes you can make in life is marrying wrong. Don’t ever be pressured into quickly making that decision.”

According to her, most probably from experience, she felt people should not get themselves pressured into marriage when mentally they aren’t ready to, as she reckoned could ultimately end with them being involved with wrong partners they might have hopes of sharing a life with.

Elizabeth’s post could mirror ironically her own status, considering she had been in a marital union with TV personality, Yomi Black which sadly had ended last year after an alleged 8 months of separation.

The two had first met on set during the second edition of ‘The Intern’, Nigeria’s pioneer business reality TV show, and had gotten along after, which led to an eventual marriage in 2012. The union saw to them welcoming a son, Quamil Black in July 2015, which sadly wasn’t enough to keep the two together.

Considering the interior designer is coming to the open to address the issue of marriage and the pressure that comes as a result of it, speaks highly to the fact that all may not have being right in her own marriage with Yomi Black.
