Ondo Assembly fires18 LG council bosses

Ondo State House of Assembly has sacked the caretaker chairmen of the 18 Local Governments councils in the state, TOPNAIJA.NG reports.

The House said the dissolution, which takes effect from Thursday, June 13, 2019, equally affects the supervisory councillors in the state.

The sacked officials were asked handover to the Directors of Local Government Administration, (DLG) with immediate effect.

The Ondo State House of Assembly is the legislative branch of the Ondo State Government inaugurated on February 3, 1979. The assembly is unicameral with 26 representatives elected from each constituencies of the 18 local government area of the state.
