"Ominous and sinister" -- Femi Fani-Kayode on Supreme Court fire

“The fire outbreak at the Supreme Court this morning is ominous and sinister.” Femi Fani-Kayode says in reaction to the Supreme Court disaster.

Former Aviation Minister and political activist, Femi Fani-Kayode states the obvious in reaction to the Supreme Court fire outbreak in the early hours of Monday.

The incident, which took place at the Supreme Court of Nigeria located in the Three Arms Zone of Abuja, raised questions and concerns among the public.

It was reported that the mysterious fire damaged offices belonging to some of the justices, prompting occupants of the building to evacuate for safety.

Providing insight into the fire incident, Festus Akande, the Public Relations Officer for the Court, in an interview with Channels TV explained that the fire’s origin was electrical, originating from one of the chambers used by the justices.

Fortunately, it was swiftly extinguished through the use of fire extinguishers.

Akande also clarified that rumors circulating on social media about casualties resulting from the incident were false and should be disregarded by the general public.

He assured that the fire occurrence would not have any impact on the presidential election petition.

Reacting to the incident, Femi Fani-Kayode expressed his concern through a post on his social media platform.

In his message, he described the Supreme Court fire outbreak as “ominous” and “sinister,” raising questions about the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The fire incident at the Supreme Court has prompted inquiries into its cause and implications, with a lot of conspiracy theories creeping online as Nigerians try to fix puzzle piece.
