Oluwo of Iwo to tie marital knot with Princess of Kano

The Oluwo of Iwo land, Adewale Akanbi, is set to tie the knot with the love of his life Firdauz Abdullahi a princess of the royal family in Kano, after divorcing his first wife, a Jamaican woman three years ago.

It was gathered that the royal wedding scheduled to take place on 19th March, 2022, at the residence of the Madakin Kano in Kano state.

The granddaughter of the deceased Emir Ado Bayero, will hold a grand reception strictly for ladies at Gidan Rumfa inside the Kano Emir’s palace shortly after the wedding.

The Oluwo has told everyone to disregard the letter that trended on social media about a month ago where the Oluwo was allegedly asking for financial support for the wedding from the governor of Osun State. The palace had on February 11 released a statement to refute the claim, saying the letter was not from Oluwo and it was a false letter.
