Okada Ban: Check list of areas affected by the ban

Lagos confiscate 100 motorcycles on restricted routes

On the 18th of May 2022, the Lagos State Government announced a total ban on commercial motorcycles (Okada ban) in some Local Government Areas of the state.

The ban will be effective from 1st June 2022 in six Local Government Areas.

The Okada ban will affect people living in the following areas:  Ikeja, Surulere, Eti Osa, Lagos Mainland, Lagos Island and Apapa local government areas.

Acme Road (tertiary), Akanni Doherty Street (tertiary), Adenekan Salako Street, Adeniyi Jones Avenue (tertiary, Allen Avenue (secondary), Allen Lane, Adefolu Drive, Balogun Street, Billingsway Road, BRT Lane (service), among others.
