Ogoni First Lawyer Dies At 88, Months After Marrying A Much Younger Bride

Senetor Cyrus Nunieh, the 87-year-old lawyer and former lawmaker who caused quite a stir in October, 2017, when he married his heartthrob, Rosemary Ijeoma, in Rivers State is dead.

He married a forty-something-year-old lady named Rosemary Ijeoma in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state in October 2017. Cyrus Nunieh, said he decided to marry another wife because he was alone and needed a companion after his wife’s death in 1991.

 

 

Sadly, he died less than a year after the union.

The death of the first legal practitioner and first senator in Ogoniland, was announced, today, by the national executive council of Ogoni Youth federation (OYF).
