OAU, Ile-Ife announces 2 weeks mid semester break

Beginning from March 28, 2022, The management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile -Ife, has said the school will be embarking on a two-week mid-semester break.

Mrs Magaret Idowu Omosule, the university’s registrar had signed the release which was made on Saturday.

The statement read: “This is to inform staff and students of the university that Management, at a meeting held today, Saturday, 26th March, 2022, approved a two-week mid-semester break for students beginning from Monday, 28th March, 2022.

“We wish students of the university an enjoyable break.”

Recalled that, the university had since been rocked with series of protests by a group of Ife indigenes who decried the non-appointment of Ife indigene as the Vice Chancellor of the university, the protests by the Ile Ife indigenes has been  suspended.
