OAP, Gbemi laments; calls out clothing brand over inflation of price because of her status

Nigerian broadcaster, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, has cried out after a clothing brand she recently contacted increased its price because of her celebrity status.

The On-Air personality took to her Twitter handle to lament about her experience with a clothing brand.

According to her, she came across the supposed brand and reached out to them to inquire about an outfit they posted on their page and she was told a somewhat ridiculous amount.

Speaking further, she got to know when she made her friend contact the same brand and make inquiries about the same dress of which she was told a lesser amount instead.

Taking to her Twitter handle, questioned why they charged her a higher price.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote,

“I dm’ed a bespoke brand yesterday asking about the price of a dress on their page . They said it’s 45k.
I had a friend dm them as well about the same dress & they told her it’s 40k.
Yes I know it’s only 5k difference but why give me a higher price ?
It’s unfair.”
