NYSC moves registration date as Zamfara pays special allowance

Nigeria’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced extension of online registration processes for its 2019 Batch B stream II prospective corps members, TOPNAIJA.NG reportd.
The scheme made the announcement on Wednesday via its official Twitter handle.
“Public Notice: This is to inform prospective corps members that online registration has been extended to Tuesday, 13th August 2019,” it wrote.

Meanwhile, Bello Muhammad, Zamfara governor, has promised to pay special allowance to corps members serving in rural communities across the state.

The governor said the decision was to appreciate and encourage them for their contributions to the socio-economic development of the state.
“We appreciate NYSC for being committed to our cause to move Zamfara State to the next level,” he said.
“On our part, we will ensure the payment of special allowances to Corps Members serving in rural communities as a show of appreciation and encouragement”.
“The Agriculture, Education, Health and Basic Infrastructures in the State are in dire need of your services and I believe you will justify the confidence reposed in you in this direction.”
