Why we're not ready to open orientation camps - NYSC

The Coordinator of the National Youths Service Corps, Gombe, Ada Imoni, has appointed three Prospective Corps members as Corps Camp Directors.

Ada revealed that the directors would take turns each week in order to serve as liaison between the NYSC and Corps members throughout the orientation course.

Imoni stated this on Sunday shortly after briefing batch C stream I Prospective Corps Members at the orientation camp Amada Akko LGA.

Recall that the Innovation was brought about by the Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim as Management’s effort to give Corps members a sense of belonging.
The three Prospective Corps members chosen to direct the affairs of their colleagues comprise of two males and one female.

Inaugurating the directors, the state coordinator urged them to discharge their responsibilities justly, noting that they are to complement the efforts of staff camp director for the sake of effectiveness.

The directors include; Oyeniyi Oluwatobiloba, an indigene of Kwara State, a graduate of Computer Science from Ilaro Federal Polytechnic Ogun and with State State code number -GM/21C/0066.
Others are; Gimbason Favour, with State code Gm/21C/0191. She is
an indigene of Kaduna State and a graduate of Sociology from
Kaduna State University and Iorhemba Yobu T with State code Gm/21C/0273, from Benue state, who studied Political Science at the Benue State university.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a program set up by the Nigerian government to involve Nigerian graduates in nation building and the development of the country.
