Talk about a legend recognizing a legend as Super Eagles great, Nwankwo Kanu reacts to former manager, Arsene Wenger being inducted into the Premier League hall of fame.

Former Arsenal striker, Nwankwo Kanu, has congratulated his former manager, Arsene Wenger, on his induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame. The Frenchman was inducted on Wednesday alongside his old rival and legendary former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.

Wenger, who arrived at Arsenal in 1996, was one of the first foreign managers to coach in the Premier League. During his tenure, he introduced a number of revolutionary football philosophies to the English game and stayed at the North London club until 2018.

Kanu was signed for Arsenal by Wenger from Serie A club Inter Milan in January 1999. He spent five years with the Gunners, winning two Premier League and FA Cup titles.

The induction ceremony took place at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester ahead of the match between Manchester City and Aston Villa. The Premier League Hall of Fame was launched in 2021 to celebrate the league’s greatest players and managers.

Wenger’s induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame is a fitting tribute to his illustrious career in English football. He won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cup trophies with Arsenal and is widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in the history of the game.
