NSCDC arrest man for intruding female hostel

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has detained Muhammad Munzali of Kaura Gidan Damo, Shanono Local Government Area, Kano State who sneaked into Skyline University Nigeria’s female hostel.

The suspect was apprehended by corps officers around 10 p.m. on Wednesday night while attempting to sneak into Skyline University Nigeria’s female dormitories on Sardauna Crescent in Nassarawa GRA, Kano State.

The suspect’s arrest was confirmed in a statement by the NSCDC’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Abdullahi, which was obtained by Topnaija on Friday.

“The suspect was said to have disguised and dressed in women’s garb and was found with local charms around his body,” the PRO said.

According to Abdullahi, an inquiry is still ongoing to determine the reason for his breach into the private university’s female dormitories.

“The State Commandant, NSCDC Kano Command, Mohammed Falala, had recently, in a strategic meeting with management, charged officers and men of the command to be extra vigilant.

“He had stressed the need to intensify surveillance in and around public and private educational institutions in the state to safeguard them against criminally-minded elements,” the statement said.
