"Nothing legit about nationwide protests" -- Hope Uzodinma alleges

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has praised the people of the Southeast for avoiding the nationwide protests, attributing the demonstrations to disgruntled cabals feeling the heat of President Bola Tinubu’s reforms.

In a recent statement, Uzodinma emphasized that Tinubu’s decisive actions are exposing those who have long exploited Nigeria’s resources, alleging that the recent nationwide protests are not as noble as Nigerians think.

Highlighting the right to peaceful protest, Uzodinma commended his region’s wisdom in steering clear of potential chaos and prioritizing stability. He pointed out the irony of those behind Nigeria’s economic woes now orchestrating protests, fearing the loss of their grip on power.

“I commend our people of the South Eastern region for heeding our appeal not to join the nationwide protest. Your wisdom in recognizing the potential danger of hijackers targeting peaceful demonstrators is truly commendable.”

“This reaction comes simply because we have a President who is courageous enough to dismantle the entrenched cabal exploiting our common resources,” Uzodinma points out about the nationwide protests.

“President Tinubu’s bravery in breaking down these exploitative structures is ruffling feathers,” Uzodinma remarked, calling for unity in overcoming the nation’s challenges.

As the Southeast stands firm, the Governor’s message is clear: prioritize peace and progress over the manipulation of vested interests.

However, the Imo State governor’s assertion about the nationwide protests bearing no validity due to it being sponsored is clouding the reality that faces a lot of Nigerians in the country, including those of South East extraction.
