Popular Barbadian songstress and entrepreneur, Rihanna Fenty has revealed that she doesn’t see herself engaging in collaborative music deals with Drake “anytime soon”.

The 31-year-old singer made this disclosure in an interview with New York Times after having earlier hinted that her next album would be heavily influenced by her Caribbean roots and dubbed ‘R9’ on the basis of it being her ninth studio album.

The singer, who also broke the news that her forthcoming music album would be a reggae project, responded: “Not anytime soon. I don’t see it happening. Not on this album, that’s for sure,” when she was asked if she would be joining forces with Drake on ‘R9’.

“So far it’s just been R9, thanks to the Navy. I’m about to call it that probably, cause they have haunted me with this ‘R9, R9, when is R9 coming out?’ How will I accept another name after that’s been burned into my skull?” she added.

Although Rihanna has remained inexplicit with regard to the release date of ‘R9’, the gifted songstress debunked rumours that she’s working with Lady Gaga. She however added that she’s open to collaborations.

The singer also revealed she would be distributing new clothings from her Fenty Maison fashion line completely online. She hinted that the brand would debut its wares through the Fenty online shop on May 29.

“I want to be as disruptive as possible,” Rihanna said while explaining her business strategy.

“The brand is not traditional. There is no runway show. It’s a new way of doing things because I believe that this is where fashion is going to go eventually.”

Not long ago, Rihanna was acclaimed as the first woman to create an original fashion brand with LVMH, a French multinational luxury goods conglomerate, headquartered in Paris.

“Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer. But, through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur; a real CEO; and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH,” Bernard Arnault, chairman of LVMH, had said.

It was truly a wild stretch where I wish I was a fly on the wall, We had Rihanna unfollowing JLo on her Instagram just as J Lo was in Drake arms, Then Drake didn’t stop there he went and got some Booty Model pregnant.
