Not A Chance—Patrick Vieira on Zaha to Chelsea

Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha has been on the news over rumored move away from Selhurst Park with Chelsea and Arsenal speculated as interested suitors.

Speaking on the rumors, the Crystal Palace manager, Patrick Vieira reveals there is not a chance that the Ivorian is leaving Palace this summer.

The Frenchman went on to dismiss the speculation that Wilfried Zaha could leave before the transfer deadline.

The Ivory Coast international, has had at least 3 goal contributions since the start of the Premier League season, helping the Crystal Palace side to secure points against Liverpool and recently in the 1-1 draw against Brentford.

Although the player admitted his frustrations at the team not being able to secure the 3 points after scoring goals that should have won games, particularly against Brentford and the Manchester City game.

Speaking after the game against Brentford, Patrick Viera said on the rumors of Zaha exiting the club:

“I think there’s no comment to be made on that. I see him training every day and he didn’t mention anything about leaving.

“He’s always concentrated on performing well for the team because he wants to win games for this football club.

“There’s a really nice relationship between this football team and Wilfried Zaha, it’s not going to stop now,” he said.
