Nollywood actor Zack Orji denies rumors of Gabonese origin

Nollywood veteran actor Zack Orji has debunked social media rumours claiming that he is from Gabon.

Taking to his Instagram page, @realzackorji, Orji expressed his frustration over the falsehood, noting that this was not the first time such rumours had circulated about him.

“I am a full-blooded Nigerian, hail from Enugu, the coal city State, and proud of my Nigerian heritage,” Orji stated.

He condemned those spreading the lies, saying, “God should deal with those people that originated the lies.”

The actor also addressed previous false reports about his death, which he labelled as “a lie from the pit of hell.”

Orji emphasized his Nigerian identity once again, saying, “Now, another lie from the pit of hell has emerged, this time they said that I am from Gabon. That I am not a Nigerian.”

Issuing a strong disclaimer, Zack Orji reaffirmed, “I am a full-blooded Nigerian. Both my parents are Nigerians; I am from Enugu State, the coal city State. I am proudly Nigerian and equally proud of my Nigerian heritage.”

He concluded with a stern warning to the originators of the rumours, asserting, “God Almighty will deal with whoever originated that lie. He will deal with the liar as He deems fit.”
