Nollywood Actor Uche Odoputa pleads with Nigerians as father held hostage

It’s mostly the case of kidnap, killings, rinse and repeat that has been the case in Nigeria so far as the insecurities worsen by the day. The latest comes with Nollywood actor, Uche Odoputa who pleads an emotional cry to Nigerians.

The Actor, Director and Producer, revealed to Nigerians that his father was kidnapped and has pleaded for their prayers in the hopes that his father would be rescued from the hands of his kidnappers.

The actor revealed that his father, Mr. Kenneth Odoputa was kidnapped on the 6^th of May, presumably two weeks ago and has since remained in the custody.

Uche on his Instagram page wrote, “Friends please join me in prayers for my father’s safe return from the hands of kidnappers that took him for over 2weeks now”

It’s an emotional one for the actor, but it’s unknown if any ransom had been demanded or received as at this moment.

And as Nigeria’s dawn breaks, so do the stories of unrest, insecurity and so on, leaving citizens to wonder who and where is safe as the country stands at the moment.
