No Time To Have Fun as fun seekers robbed in Abuja

No time to have fun but certainly a time to get robbed.

It definitely won’t be the kind of headline fun seekers would want to read as it is reported that a number of people who had gone to Aco Estate Gardens to lodge, were robbed.

The armed robbers are said to have dispossessed them of their cash and valuables in the lounge that sits along the Airport Road in Abuja

According to reports, a resident of the area who revealed the criminals were six in number; invaded the garden around 8pm on Monday and shot sporadically before robbing people.

The resident said:

“I was leaving the garden to my house after I received a call that I had a visitor. I was just some few metres away when I started hearing gunshots.”

They added that some minutes after they were told that robbers had invaded the garden and robbed guests.

Another witness, identified as Samuel, revealed the robbers had jumped out from a car some metres away from the guests and trekked to the entrance of the garden before attacking their victims.

He said:

“In fact, one of the robbers first came as if he wanted to buy a drink. Moments later when I started hearing gunshots I escaped through the back.”

The guests were revealed not to have sustained any injury during the attack as the robbers fled immediately.

News like this would very much discourage fun seekers from going out at night to have some nightlife especially one without security.
