Afrobeat star Davido has found himself at the center of controversy after being called out for smoking close to his wife, Chioma, during a high-profile Barcelona vs. Real Madrid game.
The uproar began when a social media user shared a snapshot of the musician smoking near Chioma, questioning his respect for her as a married man.
The tweet that ignited the debate read: “See as married man dey smoke, Davido no even get respect for Chioma.”

The reactions were swift and varied:
