No one sees what Reiss Nelson does behind the scenes — Saka

Arsenal star, Bukayo Saka has praised teammate, Reiss Nelson for the work he does behind the scenes at the North London club.

The Gunners star looked certain to exit the club following the conclusion of the 2022/23 season before signing a new 4-year contract before the ending of July.

Reiss Nelson made 18 appearances across competitions for Arsenal in the previous season, coming on to create options for the Gunners when they most needed it.

The academy graduate scored 3 goals and registered 3 assists.

“I am happy every time I see one of my boys do well – Reiss Nelson, the winner [against Bournemouth]. I am so happy for him, that moment. He deserved it,” Saka told ESPN.

“No one sees how hard he works behind the scenes and he has been unlucky with some injuries. I hope he can kick on from there.”
