No one can be collected. We choose to go where we are loved and appreciated” – BBNaija star, Maria spills

Former Big Brother Naija ‘shine Ya Eye’ housemate, Maria Chike Benjamin, has stated that no one can be ‘collected’ from their partner except the individual decides to leave the relationship.

The reality show star declared this while reacting to a viral tweet which advised people not to search for love in Lagos.

Reacting to the tweet, Maria Chike decided to drop a key note into the tweet. She stated that no one can be snatched from a relationship.

Topnaija recalls that sometime last year 2021, Maria was accused by Nigerian socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, of snatching one Maryanne Onyinyechi Obi Anene’s husbands.

The accusation kept on coming until she began showing off the man, Cubana Chief Priest revealed as Kevin Anene.

Also reacting to the said tweet, she questioned if she can return the love she found in Lagos back.


Notwithstanding, she was immediately tackled over her statement about returning Kevin to Lagos, and advised her to pray that another woman doesn’t ‘snatch’ him from her.

In a later response, Maria wrote, “Nobody can ever be collected. We choose to go where we’re appreciated and loved”
