Nkechi Blessing’s reaction as she and Lege Miami gets suspended from acting till further notice

Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria(TAMPAN)  suspends Nollywood actors, Nkechi Blessing Sunday and Lege Miami from Nollywood till further notice.

Nkechi Blessing Sunday is a 32-year-old Nigerian actress, musician, filmmaker, and producer and script writer from Abia State, South East, Nigeria. Adams Kehinde on the other hand, who is Popularly known as Lege Miami is a yoruba actor, movie producer, director and entrepreneur. Both actors have been in a war of words on social media over the recent arrest of their colleague, Baba Ijesha, who has been accused of rape and sexual defilement of a minor.

A statement issued by the TAMPAN chairman, Damilola Olatunji disclosed that the unruly acts and exchange of detrimental verbal utterances by the actors are disrespectful to the association’s image and profession.

The chairman added that the decision is following the directive of TAMPAN’s parent body as the show of shame currently going on between nollywood actors, Nkechi Blessing and Lege Maimi can no longer be accepted; hence punitive order became imperative to redeem the image of the association. The statement further explained that no movie director from the TAMPAN association should engage the services of the Nollywood stars as anyone who engages in others will be subject to punitive measure.

Nkechi Blessing who is enjoying in America, took to her Instagram page to throw a subtle shade that Hollywood seems to be her rightful place and not Nollywood. She wrote;

“Everything about this image is screaming HOLLYWOOD … take your rightful place QUEEN”
