Nigerians mourn as actor, David Osagie dies hours after movie set

Nollywood actor, David Osagie has been confirmed dead hours after movie set without showing any sign of sickness.

Confirming the death of David Osagie, actress Ibiwari Etuk in the early hours of Wednesday, May 4 penned down an emotional tribute on her Instagram page.

The actress noted that the now-deceased actor’s death was a shock to her because he never showed any sign he was battling sickness.

Actress Ibiwari, who also revealed that she and the late actor were on a movie set together on Tuesday wrote: “This can’t be explained o. He filmed yesterday o; went back to rest hoping to resume shoot today but never woke up. Another king role interpreter is gone. What is this, God?”

A source cited by viral reports said the actor only slept and never woke up.

“Good morning fam; I hate to say this but we have lost another Nollywood king, Sir David. He wasn’t sick, it just happened. How do we explain this, another loss in Nollywood? Oh Lord have mercy,” the source said

Born October 1, the 52-years-old actor is survived by his wife and children. However, Sir David Osagie doesn’t post pictures of his family, wife, and children on social media.
