When the talks about battling terrorism repeatedly get stalled due to the workings of inside men, you have the lives of innocent civilians having to pay the ultimate cost.

Time after time, we have reports of soldiers being killed by terrorists or political speeches such as Bokoharam being tactically defeated across daily reports, only to have behind the scenes ground works treacherously dragging genuine efforts.

It has been reported by Sahara Reporters that a Nigerian soldier attached to the Forward Operations Base (FOB) in Galadi, Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State has been arrested for selling ammunition and military uniforms to armed bandits within the state.

As gathered, the soldier identified as Bala Nura (19NA/78/3870) was arrested by the military police on Wednesday with sources reporting Nura having confessed to selling 100 rounds of 7.62mm special each to terrorists at the rate of N100,000.

The soldier is also said to have been caught with 1,000 rounds of the same ammunition which he had promised to sell the gunmen for N1 million.
