National Assembly battles leaky roof
Senators resumed plenary today at the National Assembly. To mark the end of their second legislative year after a one-week break.
The heavy down pour of rain has managed to force its way through the roof of the national assembly. Cleaners at the building have been taking time to clean the water. This was said to have have disrupted the plenary that was holding.
In a post by Punch, the national assembly had approved a budget for the renovation of the building. The building was constructed 27 years ago and a 37 billion Naira budget was approved in 2020 for its renovation.
