Nigerian man dies as soakaway pit collapses in Delta
Tragic as a Nigerian man reportedly died inside a collapsed soakaway pit at Karien Street in Okumagba Layout, Warri, Delta State.
It was gathered that the deceased immediately died as the pit collapsed inside a new compound built by a politician.
Details of the incident are still sketchy as of the time of this report.
Policemen from the “B” Division in Warri have evacuated the remains of the deceased and deposited them same in a morgue.
The Divisional Police Officer “B” Division in Warri, CSP Kelvin Ziokumor in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent said one John Asotu incidents the matter at the station, saying the property where it occurred belongs to his niece.
According to CSP Ziokumor, they were working when the pit collapsed and killed the young man.
