Nigerian gets Murdered by American lover in Miami

A Nigerian man, Christian Tobechukwu Obumseli was reportedly stabbed and murdered by his American lover, Courtney Clenney following a dispute.

Courtney is said to have stabbed the 27 year old Nigerian in the chest during a fight at their luxury apartment building in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood.

The incident which occurred on April 3 has seen the 25 year old suspect arrested on Wednesday and extradited to face charges in Florida.

Courtney Clenney is known to be a media influencer famous for ‘OnlyFans’.

According to her defense attorney, Frank Prieto, she will be facing charges for second degree murder, revealing that prior to her arrest by the authorities she had been at a rehab facility in Hawaii for substance abuse and post traumatic disorder.

“I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged.

“We look forward to clearing her name in court,” he said.

Courtney Clenney is said to have  about two million followers on Instagram, prior to the fight that claimed the life of her Nigerian lover, Christian Tobechukwu Obumseli.

According to police report, they said Courtney was seen hitting Christian, with investigations initially conducted to determine if it was a case of self defense, stating:

“Officers say there was a struggle before Obumseli was stabbed in the shoulder. He died at the hospital and investigators are still trying to figure out what happened and if Clenney acted in self-defense”
