Nigerian designer dresses Iconic Barbie Doll for Barbie’s 60th anniversary

Mowalola Ogunlesi is a Nigerian designer who keeps making the nation proud. From dropping out of her MA to having a client-base including Kanye West, Solange, Nike among others. Mowalola is now set to dresses Iconic Barbie Doll for British Vogue!

In the September issue of British Vogue, the publication celebrates Barbie’s 60th anniversary inspired by her diverse range of dolls with varying looks and body types. Mowalola Ogunlesi is one of the six leading emerging designers set to dress a Barbie from the new line of Barbie Fashionista dolls in an outfit inspired by their collections.

The designers were also photographed by Stas Komarovski and styled by Poppy Kain, with their respective Barbie for an exclusive feature.
