Nigerian Businessman Offers N1 Million Cash to Chef Dammy to Her End Cookathon
A Nigerian businessman has made a generous offer of N1 million cash to Chef Dammy if she agrees to call off her ongoing cookathon.
The chef has been facing significant backlash since she embarked on her cooking marathon in Oye, Ekiti state.
While the businessman expressed that he has no issue with Chef Dammy’s decision to cook for an extended period, he believes that it is premature considering Hilda Baci has recently completed her own cooking record.
He suggests that it would have been more appropriate for Chef Dammy to wait until Hilda’s record is officially recognized by the Guinness World Records before commencing her own attempt.
@OhhhhMyJosh reacted: “Una wey get money too rude.”
@amudaDewale added: “Another clout chaser jumping on the trend. Sets a camera and pretends to work out lmao. Some things are just silly acts. Go rest.”

Chef Dammy, however, remains undeterred by the criticism and continues to persevere in her quest to surpass Hilda Baci’s record of 100 hours of continuous cooking.
Despite facing sleepless nights and mounting challenges, she maintains her determination to break the existing record.
Taking to her official Twitter account, Damilola called for support and prayers from fellow Nigerians as the task becomes increasingly arduous with each passing hour.
Her request for solidarity reflects her unwavering commitment to achieving her goal.
“Happy Sunday people, don’t forget to pray for Chef Dammy🙏,” the post on her page read.
