Nigerian army strike heavy blow against ISWAP in Timbuktu
Nigerian troops have made significant progress against ISWAP terrorists in Timbuktu.
The recent operation led by Sector 2, Special Forces Brigade, alongside HYBRID forces and Civilian JTF, resulted in destroying two enemy gun trucks and recovering a Howitzer Artillery gun.
The week-long offensive, supported by the Nigerian Air Force, saw aerial cover and reconnaissance greatly boosting ground operations.
Local residents are hopeful as they see the terrorist influence waning, thanks to the combined efforts of the military and air forces.
