Nigeria vs. Angola: Peter Obi jets to Cote D'Ivoire to take sides

Nigeria match out to face a herculean task against Angola in the ongoing AFCON tournament, and who better to be there to cheer on the Super Eagles of Nigeria than former President candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi?

The former Anambra State Governor took to the Ivory Coast to watch the Super Eagles of Nigeria live as they take on the Black Antelopes of Angola in a very crucial Quarter-Final clash.

The crucial battle also sees Labour Party chieftain, Valentine Ozigbo together with Peter Obi present in Cote D’Ivoire to rally behind the national team, with the former making it known via his social media platform X.

The enthusiasm for the clash speaks, and in a tie that sees no side as obvious favorites, it stands a herculean task to get to the Semi-Final and if brute doesn’t guaranty either side through to the Semi-final, perhaps a game of wit might be required to get one of them in.

Either way, Peter Obi and Valentine Ozigbo know the side they are standing behind in Cote D’Ivoire.
