The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched an upgraded version of the Citizens’ Delivery Tracker App to promote transparency and citizen participation in governance.

Led by Hadiza Usman, the app enables citizens to monitor ministries’ deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide assessments and feedback.

Usman announced the availability of the app at app.cdcu.gov.ng, with plans for it to be downloadable on app stores soon.

The development involved consultations with stakeholders to ensure alignment with Presidential Priority Areas and global performance benchmarks.

Cynthia Rowe from the UK’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office praised the initiative, emphasizing citizen-government trust, while Ifeanyi Peters highlighted the importance of accessibility.

The launch marks a significant step towards enhancing transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement in Nigeria’s governance.
