“Nigeria dey pain me die!” — Rapper Dandizzy laments
In a fiery critique that has set social media ablaze, rising Hip Hop star Dandizzy has called out his fellow Nigerian musicians for neglecting their homegrown fans.
The “Bad Character” rapper expressed frustration over the trend of popular artists prioritizing international tours over local performances, leaving their Nigerian audience in the lurch.
Dandizzy lamented the fact that many of these big-name artists rarely perform in Nigeria, making even basic concert experiences a luxury for fans. He highlighted how event promoters struggle to afford the skyrocketing costs of booking these celebrities for local shows, forcing them to focus on more lucrative opportunities abroad.

Dandizzy’s candid remarks have struck a chord with many, resonating with the frustrations of fans who feel sidelined. He further shed light on the pervasive poverty in Nigeria, noting how adversity has driven many to beg for assistance from the wealthy.
