About a week after the National Film and Video Censors Board NFVCB removed the Sugar Rush movie from the cinema, the board has returned it.

NFVCB announced the return of the movie on its Twitter handle some hours ago.

Last week, the censor’s board yanked off the movie from cinemas on grounds that the temporary approval for the movie had elapsed and that for it to coninue showing in cinemas, it must receive its final approval.

The NFVCB boss, Thomas Adedayo, took the blame for failing to grant the final approval for the movie due to his busy schedule.

The film tells the story of three sisters who accidentally discover $800,000 (N288m) in the house of a corrupt man. Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Bisola Aiyeola, Tobi Bakre and many others feautered in the movie which was produced by Jade Osiberu.

I love to read, write and TRAVEL!!! The media space is my canvas to paint the truths of our brands and the stories of our Nigerian culture. I love a good book any day because with them I can travel to spaces that are perfect in their frame.
