New bleaching procedure exposed, shocked Nigerians react

Twitter users were left in shock after a video showing a woman undergoing an extreme measure to bleach her skin surfaced online.

In the video, the woman can be seen laying nearly naked in a bathtub filled with water, while an attendant can also be seen exfoliating her legs in the bleaching procedure.

The price for the procedure which was being advertised by a female voice in the video was fixed at N30,000.

Many reactions trailed the video, with Twitter users wondering at the length people go to lose their dark skin for a more fashionable ‘light skin’.
