Nephew of the arrested Seun Kuti, Made Kuti has reacted to Netizens attack over the fact that he was not present at the court to support his arrested uncle.

He revealed photos that showed proofs that he was available at the court.

He added that he hated the fact that he had to reveal photos to prove that he was at the court.

‘Life is more than what we see on our phones’. He added.

He had been present at the court but didn’t see the need to reveal the photos in the first place.

Recall that it was reported on Tuesday that Seun Kuti, was on Tuesday arraigned before a Magistrate’s court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State.

Kuti, who is the defendant, was charged with assault on a police officer, an offense contrary to Section 356 of the Nigerian Criminal Code Act.

The police prosecutor, S. A Adebese, prayed the court to remand the defendant for 21 days pending legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.

However, the counsel led by Femi Falana, SAN, begged the court to not remand his client, stating that he was not aware of the remand application.

A viral video of Seun Kuti assaulting a police officer on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State emerged on Saturday.

Kuti had turned himself in at the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja on Monday, following an order for his arrest by the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba.

He was later transferred to the state’s Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Lagos.

Police raid Seun Kuti’s home

Last night, Officers of the Lagos State Police Command stormed the home of Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti.

In a video that made rounds on the internet, the men of the police command had raided his house in Allen Avenue while the singer, who was handcuffed, waited inside one of the police vehicles.

The spokesperson of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin, says a warrant was duly obtained for the raid.
