Naira Marley to celebrate 26th birthday on ‘Marlians Day’
Influential Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley has revealed plans to mark his 26th birthday on May 30 — a day he dubbed ‘Marlians’ Day’.
The singer had opted for the day — in December 2019 — to celebrate ‘Marlians’, his fans, annually following suggestion raised by DJ Cuppy that there should be a special day for the gifted singer’s followers.
In a social media page on Monday, the singer, who clocked 26 on Sunday, appreciated friends and fans who had wished him well.
The ‘Soapy’ crooner also said he would be shelving celebration for his birthday till May 30, so as to mark the day with his numerous fans.
“Thanks for all the birthday dedede. We are going to celebrate it together on Marlians Day May,” he wrote on his Instagram.
