Naira Marley granted N2m bail

A Lagos high court has granted Azeez Fashola, singer better known as Naira Marley, bail.

The singer was granted bail of N2 million on Thursday, shortly after he was arraigned on 11 charges of internet fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Nicholas Oweibo, who presided over the case, granted the bail with two sureties in like some, one of which must be on grade level 10 on the federal or state employment.

The other surety must have a landed property within the court’s jurisdiction.

The judge, thereafter, adjourned the case till October 22, 23 and 24, for accelerated hearing.
