N19m distributed to families of Edo deceased workers

Edo State Governor has presented cheques totalling N19,169,724.24 to the next-of-kins of seven deceased employees of the state government who were enrolled under the Edo State Contributory Pension Scheme.

A statement on Sunday said Governor Godwin Obaseki, who was represented at the presentation at the Government House, by the Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowa, said that was the seventh time his administration would be doing such.

He said, “A total sum of N19,169,724.24 was presented to the next-of-kins of seven deceased beneficiaries who are the late Iyawe Christopher, Emmanuel Akhigbe, the late Osadome Queen, the late Asiriuwa Godfrey, the late Izuagie Jonathan, the late Ayemoba Blessing and the late David Okhiria.”
