“My mother was a riff raff who was used to beating boys” - BBNaija’s housemate, Cross reveals

Big Brother Naija, housemate, Cross Okonkwo, publicly refers to his biological mother as a riff-raff.

Cross Okonkwo is one of the housemates in the Big Brother Naija show, season 6. He made this shocking statement to a fellow housemate and his love interest, Saskay during a conversation on Monday, 23rd August.

In the conversation with Saskay, Cross revealed that his mother, Uju was very stubborn as a teenager and her parents got tired of her to the point that they wanted to get rid of her. He went further to say that his mother beat up a man who paid her bride price which made the man return her and collect the money he had paid and that his mother later fell in love with his father after she poured him water the first time they met.

In his words;

“My mother was a riff-raff. Her parents didn’t want her again to the extent that they married her off to a man at a tender age. She used to fight and beat up boys”.

Cross, who had called his mother a riff-raff was born in Kano, although his father is currently late, his mother and siblings currently reside in Canada. However, his fans have shared their opinions about his actions and whatever justifications he stated.
