My father’s absence at my wedding will hurt me forever — Gospel singer Laoye spills

Nigerian Gospel singer, Nikki Laoye has stated how sad she was that her father was absent during her wedding with her husband.

According to the 41-year-old singer, her late father’s absence at her wedding will forever hurt her.

She stated this on Monday, August, 8 while reacting to an emotional video of a father shedding tears at his daughter’s wedding.

Reacting to the video, Nikki Laoye who described herself as a daddy’s girl said she will always be hurt not having such a moment with her dad.

She wrote;

Aww daddy’s girl like me. Will forever hurt me, I didn’t get to have this moment with my Dadda. Rest on Dadda,”

On December 19, 2021, Gospel singer, Nikki Laoye, announced her engagement to her long-time friend Adekunle Adeyoola also known as Soul Snatcha.

The couple, thereafter got married in March 2022.
